A light was dimmed on at 1:17pm on Thursday, April 30, 2015 when Anita R. "Tiny" Mowbray, 82, passed away at Epione Pavilion in Cuba City, WI. Her body is now pain free and her spirit is with those who passed on before her. Services will be held at 11am on Tuesday, May 5th at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Cuba City, WI with Father David Flanagan officiating. Burial will be in the St. Rose Church Cemetery, Cuba City, WI. Friends may call from 9am until time of service on Tuesday, May 5th at the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Cuba City, WI. The Haudenshield Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City, WI is serving the family. Anita was born on February 15, 1933 in Cuba City, WI to Earl F. and Marie (Mortensen) Wright. Anita married Carl J. Mowbray (who left us Nov. 15, 2012) on October 23, 1954. Together, they raised three children; Carol (Mark) Greenwell of Janesville, WI, Mike (Lisa) of DeForest, WI and Paul (Julie) of Cuba City, WI. She also has 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Anita enjoyed golfing, bowling and playing cards with friends. She also enjoyed her furry and feathered "grandbabies"; especially her conversations with her cockatiel buddy, Rikki. She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers: Robert, Wilbur and Earl and a sister, Helen. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Anita's name to St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Cuba City, WI. A special thanks to everyone who helped make Mom's life easier in the last few years.
