Alice G. Lux, 89, of Cuba City, WI passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at Epione Pavilion, Cuba City, WI. Services will be held at 10:30am on Tues., Aug. 19th at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church with Father David Flanagan officiating. Burial will be in the St. Rose Cemetery, Cuba City, WI. Friends may call from 4pm-8pm on Mon., Aug. 18th at the Haudenshield Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City, WI and on Tuesday, Aug. 19th from 9:30am until time of service at the church. Alice was born on June 30, 1925 to Clement & Dorothy (Wiederholt) Wiegman in rural Hazel Green, WI. She attended Bishop School in rural Hazel Green, WI. She married James F. Lux on Oct. 9, 1946 at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Hazel Green, WI. She was a member of the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Cuba City, WI. Alice enjoyed cooking, traveling, fishing but most of all time spent with her family and friends. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Alice is survived by her children: Patricia (Allen) Rippchen of Richland Center, WI and Gary (Jeanne) Lux of Cuba City, WI; 8 grandchildren: Rob (Karla) Rippchen, Tony Lux, Renee (Collin) Smith, Todd (Julie) Lux, Ann Marie (Keri) Lux-Ford, Rae Dawn (Chet) Rao, Ronda (Andrew) Pick and Ryan (Deborah) Rippchen; 10 great grandchildren: Will, Reagan, RJ & Kennedy Lux of Houston, TX, Brett & Jack Rippchen of St. Charles, IL, Anita, Maya Rao of Austin, MN, Harper & Holden Lux-Ford of Houston, TX; 3 sisters: Grace (Phil) Oyen of Potosi, WI, Mary Ann (Donald) Langmeier of Cuba City, WI and Donna Meyers of Rockford, IL; 3 brothers: Paul (Jeanette) Wiegman, Robert Wiegman both of Hazel Green, WI and Clem (Phyllis) Wiegman of Livingston, WI; a sister-in-law: Helen Wiegman of Cuba City, WI. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James (Nov. 4, 2007); a brother, John; 2 sisters: Dorothy and Mable and a brother-in-law: Clair Kunkel. In lieu of flowers a Alice G. Lux Memorial Fund has been established.
