Aimee Marie Leute, 46, of Elgin, IL, formerly of East Dubuque, IL passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 in Dubuque, IA. Services will be held on Thursday, April 24th at 11am at St. Mary's Catholic Church in East Dubuque, IL, with Father Dean Smith officiating. Burial will be in the East Dubuque Cemetery, East Dubuque, IL. Friends may call from 9am until the time of service on Thursday April 24th at the church. The Haudenshield Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City, WI is serving the family. Aimee was born on August 26, 1967 to Richard & Lorraine (Helbing) Leute in Dubuque, IA. She attended St. Mary's School in East Dubuque, IL and graduated from Wahlert High School in Dubuque, IA. She graduated from St. Anthony's School of Nursing in Rockford, IL as a registered nurse. Aimee enjoyed traveling, family gatherings, her beloved dogs and her nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Aimee is survived by her mother, Lorraine of East Dubuque, IL; 5 siblings: Rick (Jean) Leute of East Dubuque, IL, Vickie (Lee) Donar of Hazel Green, WI, Kevin (Sue) Leute of East Dubuque, IL, Duane (Miriam) Leute of Weston, WI and Mark Leute of East Dubuque, IL; special friend Tony Bussey of Elgin, IL, along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard (April 2, 2013). In lieu of flowers a Aimee Marie Leute Memorial Fund has been established.
