A. Jeanne Bailey, 83, of Darlington, WI, crossed over for a waltz with Jesus on Friday, May 10, 2024 at SSM Health Monroe Hospice Home in Monroe, WI. Per her wishes, there will be no services and a private family burial will be held at a later date. The Haudenshield Funeral Home & Crematory is serving the family.

Jeanne was born on October 18, 1940 to Benjamin & Lauretta (Olney) Holt in Missouri. She was raised by Edward & Lauretta Ortloff on the reservation until she was 21 years old. She was member of the Yakama Nation in Washington State. Jeanne enjoyed reading, dancing, country western music, but most of all, she enjoyed time spent with her family and friends. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Jeanne is survived by a daughter, Stevie Lydon of Monroe, WI; 3 grandchildren: Skyler (Tom), Paden (Gracelyn) and Riley (Hailei); a sister, Arletta Parton of Goldendale, WA; a brother, Derald (Rose) Ortloff of Yakima, WA; along with many nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, a sister, grandparents, aunts, uncles, good friends and her beloved dogs, Bradley, Kooters, Dolly & Quiggly.

In lieu of plants & flowers an A. Jeanne Bailey Memorial Fund has been established.
